Most modern torpedoes don’t hit the ship directly.
They explode under the ship.
This explosion displaces water instantly, creating a cavity.
The Ship momentarily falls into this cavity when there is no water to support it.
And then breaks on its own.
I learnt this only a couple of weeks ago.
Technology is tricky. And we obsessively try to simplify stuff.
Makes us feel good. Makes us feel smart.
The above example was just simple physics at play.
Now just imagine how complex AI could be.
And then there are so many people who want to obsessively talk about it.
Just because they feel like talking about it, the way it works and the way it does not.
Be careful.
Approach complex systems with humility.
