“I was very bad at school,” says Beckham in a Netflix Documentary on his journey so far.
Isn’t that a common statement given by so many high achievers in the field of sports?
The same goes for people who switch careers. They realize that they are very bad in some aspects of their current roles.
These people might often talk about how bad they were at chasing targets or managing people. And then one fine day there was an epiphany of sorts.
If we go by their word, it could be deduced that you need to be very bad at something to be very good at something else.
Life can be easy if you have a deep realization that you simply suck at x, y, and z. The Earlier you realize, the better it is.
After all, it is not an epiphany, it is decision-making by elimination!
The rest get trapped in the quagmire of indecisiveness throughout their lives. They keep themselves busy trying to prove that they don’t suck at what they do.
