Shawshank Redemption, the highest-rated movie on IMDB was a flop back in 1993. With a budget of $25 million, the movie was only able to make $7 million in its domestic release.

The movie received traction in the late 90s when it was distributed on cable television.

Money Heist was a super flop when it was released on a Spanish Channel called Antena 3. The production house decided to discontinue it. Actors were actively looking out for roles. But then things changed overnight.

And then, Netflix bought the rights. Netflix made it the most viewed non-English content with around 189,920,000 hours of consumption.

In both cases, platforms changed. They were the exact same products.

Can be applied to humans as well. We often struggle with the same platforms for years. When we think of change, we think of changing organizations. Only to realize nothing has actually changed.

More often than not, you might end up in a similar company with a similar platform, do the same things, and expect different results.
